Whinsy Monday..

It is Monday and that means another Whimsy Stamps Challenge. This week's theme is Sugar & Spice or Frogs & Snails. Your challenge is to make a boy or girl theme. Go on over and check it out.

For my card this week I decided to do a boy theme since I rarely do them and they are a big challenge for me. I used baseball Connor. I doesn't watch sports much but when I do it would be baseball and that is usually only the World Series. My son was born during a World Series. In fact while I was in labor my doctor sat in the room with me and we watched it together, but I think he was mostly watching what was going on with me, since we knew he was a big baby and starting to show signs of distress, so he was concerned if he was going to have to do a C-section and didn't want to go far. I did wind of giving birth to him naturally which I was grateful for. He made it into the world with a little more excitement than most and a grown man now. I guess I kind of got off the subject of the card, didn't I?
I decided to go with blue since the LA Dodgers are close to us that I would try and give them some luck to get into the playoffs. There is a clover on his hat that is what gave me the idea.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Have a good one,
Liz

Very cute card. We actually are going to the playoffs now. But geez, took us long enough, I tell ya. CRAZY :)

I am glad you had a good time with J, boy was it quiet around here and LOTS of resting going on, so that was nice.

I think this turned out great. I love it. The color can also work for the Yankees as well ;)
I recently realized that I might be in the hospital during the super bowl next year. That should be fun.
