Since I have lived in So. California all my life I haven't really been able to see all the changes of the different seasons. Since I married my husband and he is from Kansas, so with the trips to see family in the midwest I have been able to see some of these changes.
When I think of fall (or Autumn) I think of the changes in temperatures not colors. I remember the pumpkin patches always having the tall wheat stalks and pumpkins around them and a few scarecrows. So I was looking through my craft room and found a few of these wheat stalks that they put in flower arrangements and that is what I went with.
I used a glitter pen to add a little sparkle on the flourishes. I just love these pumpkins. The leaf in the corner I did a rock-n-roll effect with SU! Pumpkin Pie and Papertrey New Leaf around the edges. I like how the effect looked like leaf was changing colors.
Have a great evening and am looking forward to seeing everyone's creations.

I like the extra sparkle you added to the pumpkins. I'm glad that you have had a chance to experience the changing seasons on family trips. I love the feeling in the air when things are changing.
So cute and clever with the wheat stalks. Nothing says fall like amber waves of grain.
