Happy Tuesday!! How is everyone's week going so far? I been wanting to make one of these Shaker Boxes since I got the template but haven't taken the time. I needed a gift package for one of my SIL's and decided this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try.It took me a little time but well worth it. I just wanted to take my time and had the instructions right in from of me the whole time.It wasn't hard. I just wanted to make sure I got it right. I love how it turned out. Next time I need to make all three sizes. This is the larger of them. I don't have a cutting program so I had to cut it our by hand.
I printed my template onto PTI Rustic Cream CS and then I distressed the edges with Dark Chocolate. The brads are some I had in my stash. The lining of the box is K & Company Life's Journey. The birds are also K & Company. They are dimensional. She likes birds so I wanted to add them. I am happy with the way this turned out. I know I will make more of these boxes.Thank you stopping by and taking a look.
