A Kind Word

Good Evening!! I am back with my second card for another challenge over at Papertrey Posse. The challenge for this card was to make a spring card. I had daffodils on my mind so I pulled out my YOF set and got busy. I stamped the image with Smokey Shadow ink because I thought black would be too harsh. I then set to coloring it with my copics, again. I am not certified and not the best at coloring but I enjoy it and it is relaxing to me. I used a T1 copic to go around the edge of my daffodile. I think it make the image pop off the paper some. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Orange Zest ink. I then distressed the edges also with Orange Zest ink. The pattern paper I used was Bitty Box in Lemon Tart and then used a Martha Stewart punch and again used Orange Zest.I am really liking this one.
Have a great evening!

What a beautiful combo. Perfect for spring. I love the sentiment you chose and the way you outlined your daffodil. T1 makes that gorgeous flower pop.

This is a great coloring job on that beautiful flower. I would not have even attempted it. You shaded everything perfectly and I really like how you used the orange around the edges.
