Happy Mother's Day!!

*SPOILER ALERT*
My girls if you don't want to see your card before you receive it, don't go any further.

Good evening! Can you believe Mother's Day is on Sunday already. I make cards for my DDs and DILs. One of my daughters asked me why I made cards for them. I told that if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be a mother and they are mothers themselves and I love doing things for them.

I made all the cards the same but used different colors. I used YOF: Sweet Pea. I loved this set so much that when I saw the previews I went out and bought some seeds to grow my own. I bought seeds because I wanted the picture to give me ideas on how to color them. But would you know it I threw it away after I planted them, so I just went with it. I am not too patient so I wish I had just bought the plants to have the flowers right away. My plants have started to grow. Now I have to wait until they get big enough to bloom. I colored my Sweet Peas in PTI copic trio in Aqua Mist, Hibicus Burst, Summer Sunrise, and Plum Pudding. After coloring them I used my Nestabilities Mega Curved Rectangles. I used my two way glue pen and edged the edges with Prsma Glitter and popped them up with pop up dots. I used a black pen and ruler and outlined the edge and stamped my sentiment from Delightful Dahlia before finishing the bottom. I wasn't sure about the white on white but I do love how these turned out. Hope you do too! I took a close up pic so maybe you could see it better. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look and any comments you might leave.
Liz

Excellent! These are wonderful. The white-on-white works, and you've shaded the sweetpeas so nicely. I think your DDs and DILs will be thrilled with them!

I have to add to all the wonderful comments. The cards look even better in person. I am so grateful to you for taking the time to make it and send it. It turned out to be the only card I got.
I love everything about it and the border turned out lovely. It looks awesome how you wrapped it around the sentiment.
