Shaker Box

Happy Tuesday!! How is everyone's week going so far?
I been wanting to make one of these Shaker Boxes since I got the template but haven't taken the time. I needed a gift package for one of my SIL's and decided this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try.It took me a little time but well worth it. I just wanted to take my time and had the instructions right in from of me the whole time.It wasn't hard. I just wanted to make sure I got it right. I love how it turned out. Next time I need to make all three sizes. This is the larger of them. I don't have a cutting program so I had to cut it our by hand.
I printed my template onto PTI Rustic Cream CS and then I distressed the edges with Dark Chocolate. The brads are some I had in my stash. The lining of the box is K & Company Life's Journey. The birds are also K & Company. They are dimensional. She likes birds so I wanted to add them. I am happy with the way this turned out. I know I will make more of these boxes.

Thank you stopping by and taking a look.
Have a wonderful evening or morning depending on where you are.

This is such a great box! I really need to order this template. I love the way you inked the edges to draw attention to the pretty wrapped detail (or whatever you would call it!)!

How pretty! I'm holding out on ordering this template until they have the cut files ready, but it's killing me lol!

The box is every bit as good as what is going inside it. Love how you have embellished it.
